Austin Pettis Hosts 2nd Annual Halloween Hangout & Costume Contest

October 8 2013; ST. LOUIS, MO:

St. Louis Rams’ wide receiver Austin Pettis will host his 2nd Annual Halloween Hangout and Costume Contest on October 26th from 1:00-3:00pm at Dave and Buster’s (13857 Riverport Drive, St. Louis). The event will be for 50 1st-6th grade kids, who will receive free admission, a free lunch with Austin and a $10 gift card to play games with Pettis and other Rams players.  Pettis’ Halloween bash will also feature a costume contest, with prizes awarded to his event’s best-dressed guests.

“I hosted my first Halloween Hangout last fall, and it was so much fun I couldn’t wait to have it again,” said Pettis. “I try to give back to the St. Louis community as much as possible, and I’m looking forward to meeting some of the littlest Rams fans. With all of the games, food and fun at Dave and Buster’s, it’s going to be a really great day for all of the children and families who attend.”

Pettis will have autographs, Halloween treats and gifts for all attendees.  This event is open to the first 50 kids who RSVP.  For more information and to attend the event please email event director, Sherrie Handrinos at Sherrie@AustinPettisFoundation.org

About the Austin Pettis Foundation

The Austin Pettis Foundation’s mission is to broaden the life experiences of inner-city, underprivileged and disadvantaged youth by raising money for them to attend various sports, educational camps and programs.  The camps provide a complete package of sports & educational training (various sports available) that have a lasting and positive influence.

The Foundation knows that great possibilities are started by boys & girls being molded and influenced from attending camps. Many are unable to afford it for reasons out of their control.

By building character and integrity in youths through these sport camps and clinics we can put all children on the path to a great future with hope and opportunity.
