Happy’s Pizza is proud to announce they have reached a company milestone as they prepare to open their 100th location in Detroit, Michigan (7731 East 7 Mile Rd) on the corner of 7 Mile and Van Dyke, next week. The 100th location is only one mile from the first Happy’s Pizza location that opened 17 years ago.

Happy’s Pizza was founded by 18-year-old Happy Asker in 1996 on a busy Detroit corner, and has since grown into a nationwide brand with many locations across the United States. Happy’s Pizza is currently located in eight states and slated to expand into more by the end of 2013.

“We’re very excited to reach such an important milestone,” said Jason Curis, co-CEO of Happy’s Pizza.  “We opened our first pizzeria in Detroit 17 years ago and it’s only fitting to open our 100th here as well. Detroit was an important part of our success and we’re proud to continue giving back to this great community.”

Happy’s Pizza offers over 220 menu items ranging from pizza to salads, chicken, ribs and seafood.  Happy’s is best known for having pricing that allows a family to eat dinner for under $15.00 and deliver within a 5 mile radius of the store.

Happy’s Pizza also supports local organizations and charities across the United States, helping serve as many as possible while giving back to the community. Just this past November they gave away over 4,000 coats in Detroit and Cleveland, spending over $75,000 to help serve the great community here in Detroit as well as in Ohio, where Happy’s has multiple locations.

Happy’s Pizza also offers franchising opportunities, more information upon request.
