Sherrie Handrinos Foundation Hosts Training Session for

New Small Business Owners

With Guest Speaker/Vision Trainer Shawn Fair

June 12, 2013; DETROIT, MI: On July 13, 2013, the Sherrie Handrinos Foundation will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Handrinos launching her first network marketing company by hosting a special training session for new small business owners at The Reserve in Birmingham (375 Eton Street) from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The training session will aim to help 350-500 new small business owners take their businesses to the next level. Sherrie will train on how to start a new business, overcome obstacles, fears and concerns upon launching your new business and immediately following keynote speaker, Shawn Fair will do a Vision and Goal Setting Training for all attendees.

At the age of nineteen and with only six months invested in the company Arbonne International, Handrinos became not only the fastest, but the youngest person to achieve the level of Executive Regional Vice President in the company’s 23-year history. Handrinos founded her marketing company, Boost 1 Marketing, in January 2009, where she works with many different types of clients such as professional athletes, franchise companies and other national brands, creating brand awareness, marketing campaigns and public relation services.

Shawn Fair has coached and trained individuals as well as large companies across the nation on how to create and achieve your vision.  Fair currently is the Director of National Training, Motivational Speaker, Leadership and Management Development for CRDN, Bizzie and founder of the Fit 4 Hoops Foundation.  Fair will spend time training attendees on vision, leadership and goal setting.

The Sherrie Handrinos Foundation was launched in 2012 with a main focus of offering business coaching to small business owners launching their companies along with assistance and guidance to create and launch other nonprofit foundations.

“Usually, you’ll find me helping a client or another foundation through my marketing company, but this foundation is a passion of mine that has a purpose close to my heart,” said Handrinos, owner and founder of Boost 1 Marketing. “Someone helped me launch my first business 10 years ago, and it’s my duty to give back and help those who are not in the situation I was once in.”

The training on July 13 will raise funds for the Sherrie Handrinos Foundation, enabling the foundation to give new business owners grants and financial assistance in the hardest stage of their business: the beginning. Throughout the year, the foundation will offer small business owners consulting, seminars, clinics, workshops, etc. to gain direction and knowledge of best business practices and ethics.

Tickets for the business training session are $35 and can be purchased at www.sherriehandrinosfoundation.org. Online ticket registration will close on July 10. Registration at the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. on July 13th. The training session will start at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m.
